Scholastic All Americans

USA Swimming announced the 2005-2006 Scholastic All Americans today. Raiders Billy Rose and Jackie Hynson were among the 35 Maryland LSC swimmers and 1,119 swimmers nationwide named to this prestigious team. Student athletes who have completed their sophomore year of high school qualify for this honor by maintaining a 3.5 or higher GPA in academic subjects and competing in an individual event at a nationally-recognized swim meet (Sectionals or higher). Billy is a 2006 graduate of King George High School and a freshman at the University of Virginia. This is his third year as a Scholastic All American.
